What would help is an .exe setup file for this.... Basically, instead of editting everything manually, can you summit like this: BF2 Directory: ie C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2 Username: PID: DB: ie 127.0.0.1 Web Server Location: ie C:\Programs Files\...... ASP Location: Doing the above will save alot of time AND will encourage more people to use the program. Also, in the Client (If they are using it for SP say) you can configure the ranks/badges etc within that (Obviously connecting to the Server for this) Thoughts? D
You really think anyone is using Windows as OS? Okay a shell file for Linux can handle this too - but IMHO a server admin has to know what to do... The guys have a lot to do with bugs and other things i think its the time why they couldnt do such a one click installation us.
