Yes it is working now.
What was wrong was by default the path was c:\program files\battlefield 2 no the default c:\program files\ea games\battlefield 2

Runs but doesn't save still Even tho I have followed the manual (all of them) and use the client to load up BF2....

It's beyond me....

Also, I've realised in the system32/drivers/etc the host file keeps on reverting back to default

127.0.0.1 localhost

But I keep changing it to:

127.0.0.1 localhost
192.168.2.5 bf2web.gamespy.com

Am I typing in summit wrong?

okay, the folder exists, are files in it?
Is a file written in it if you open the following link in your browser:

http://localhost/ASP/bf2statistics.php

??

Yes, there are logs within the Logs folder,a dn I can see my Stats on the ASP/bf2statistics.php.

It's just the BFHQ now. I load up BF2 using BF2S Client, BFHQ Stats 0. Load up through Shortcut bf2.exe +ranked 1 +ai 1 +sp 1, BFHQ Stats 0

Some things i have to know

- you play the rounds until the end
- what content does the log files have?
- the connect to the databes is successfull
- what link do you insert into the bf2s client?
- if you switch to desktop and ping to bf2web.gamespy.com what ip is resolved?

No, no remote access as it's on here, my PC.

-Yes, play until round ends.

-Log files have everyhting you need for the BF2 Stats Web Page (localhost/bf2statistics.php

-Not sure if the connect to the database is successfull

-Link? You mean IP? The IP of the database

-IP comes up as 127.0.0.1 (localhost)

Still nothing in BFHQ

MrNiceGuy, can you help?

It dont think it would be the solution but do you have tried to let your hosts file looks like this

127.0.0.1 localhost
127.0.0.1 bf2web.gamespy.com

If the statistics.php page gives an output - which commandline do you use?
In fact if the output contains your date, and there are inserts in the database the connect have to be successfull - The game and ingame BFHQ dont need the mysql connect, only the script from which you say its okay.
