If you for some reason need to reimport your old logs,
This is the file you need.

Place the "import.php" in your ASP folder, hit it ONCE with your browser.

Make shure to start with a clean database.

This script has been tested, and works just fine.

If you have any questions, shoot!

Hey this is great.

I'm having some problems though, i think i set up everything correctly.

Created database, copy aspx scripts on the webserver, they work great, even the server works and fills up the database.

But the import.php doesnt fill it up. It says
"Importing zatar_wetlands_051225_2008_faLog.txt.ok... done!"
for all the files (over 4000 of them) but no data gets to the database. Strange.

What am i missing, any idea ?

btw: i've used bighamster's stats (with some mods) for half a year now, this import is for those log files, right?

I'm sorry to say, that the bighamster log's cannot be imported into the new db.
We have tried, and it will be much essential stats missing.

This import.php works with the new logfiles, if you for some reason have a db loss, or something, and need to reimport them.

Oh my mistake man, sorry about that.

I guess I'll just stick to the bighamster's stats for now, since i don't wanna loose the stats (none of my players do).

Other than that, i think its a great system and i hope it will find its spot under the sun for many admin out there !mistrust

ok great, thanx for everything.

you have another script when you tried to import old log files ? or would this one, right here, need some adjusting ? If you got different one (non working, you say), would you be so kind in emailing it to me ?

I would take a look at it, and maybe if i got enough time (read knowledge ;P ) i would try and make it working.

just a thought, tell me what you think...

anyways, here's my email, pravibiznis [at] yahoo [dot] com
