Unlock problem..
Okai, I got *everything* working perfectly, except for one thing..
I can't use unlocked weapons myself, nor unlock..
others can unlock and play with them just fine, but not me, I can unlock them manually so they show correctly in BFHQ, but still not in the game..
I assume the problem lies in not having the server on another comp, but yea, hosting it on the same comp as I play on, hosting from within the game..
Any ideas on how to solve my problems..?

When your in your BF2 client (game) and you check the BFHQ, do you see the EA global stats, or your private stats?
I see nothing by default, I.E 0 in everything, but the leaderboards are the correct ones, and I can click my name there to view my stats.. after clicking around a bit after that I get up the unlock box, just that it's *empty*.. Gives the right amount of unlocks remaining, but shows no pictures or descriptions..
ok this one is easy
when you made your account it was made direct to gamespy and your computer was asigned a pid (playerID).
go to your ASP and login and go to edit config
there is sections there for local overide all its doing is adding you as a bot so when u login your ASP script picks you up as a bot and assigns a new pid so when you do login to bf2 and go to bfhq your pid is diffrent hence your ingame stats not working.
this is why your friends are getting everything fine and your having problems being localhost this is allso why you can see leaderboards.
make sure you backup your db and then clear everything out once you have your local overide setup just to make sure your pid is correct

Good call R4Z0R49. I hadn't even thought of that (damn Occam's Razor). Hope it works for ya Seraphiel
Well, I got my global IP in the over ride boxes, still get the offline PID though, not quite sure how you wanted me to do.
Is there no manual way to fix things? Tried changing my PID in backups but didn't help v.v..

ill do some testing this weekend i dont use it as localhost but now we know your problem give me till weekend and ill try getting you sorted
Thanks.. Would be nice if I could get it working. ^.^
ok try this in your ASP _config.php file look for this line
$stats_local_pids = array('name','pid');
edit that info to add your ingame name and your ingame pid this can be found at bf2s.com
backup your db and then clear it all load your server/game and do one map then check bfhq
if all is well you shound now have stats

Did as you said, still get 28999999 as PID in the DB.. ;_;
Only change I noticed was on the stats page, getting "XX" instead of a flag.
